Canadians Living with MS have Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s support. Living with a chronic disease is difficult at best . In the case of multiple sclerosis Canadians living with MS are encouraged that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with representatives from the MS Society of Canada and members of the MS Community to mark MS Awareness Month, May 2016.
Multiple Sclerosis is an unsolved puzzle that can bring an enormous amount of pain to families affected. As the caregiver for my spouse, I understand and appreciate the efforts made through ongoing research and currently in progress to find a cure for this chronic disease.
However, until a cure is identified and proved to be effective, the emotional pain in particular, continues to take a toll on the MS family. Living with MS is no easy feat; until you actually experience it, you have no idea of the toll it takes on family members. The suffering is enormous.
As we mark another MS Awareness Month, May 2016, let’s all pray that the wisdom of the universe will guide researchers in successfully finding a cure for this chronic disease.
